‍ ‍100 Conversations: The Art of Guided Journalling

Pause. Reflect. Write. Connect.

Duration: 3 hours
Suitable for: Adults, community groups, libraries, wellbeing programs, carers groups, workplaces and community organisations
Included: One 100 Conversations Guided Journal per participant

Workshop Purpose

100 Conversations: The Art of Guided Journalling is a gentle, interactive three-hour workshop exploring how intentional writing can help us better understand ourselves, our experiences and the stories we carry.

Through guided reflection, individual writing, optional conversation and creative activities, participants experience the difference between simply answering a question and staying with it long enough to discover what lies underneath.

Using the 100 Conversations Guided Journals, participants explore themes of Identity, Belonging, Courage, Grief and Resilience, while learning a simple reflective practice they can continue long after the workshop.

No writing experience is needed, and there is never any expectation to share personal writing.

The Art of Repair: Finding Your Story Through Conversation, Memory and Memoir

Facilitator: Sarah Rosse
Duration: 2 Hours
Format: Interactive Workshop
Suitable for: Emerging writers, memoir writers, journal writers, community storytellers and anyone interested in personal storytelling.

Workshop Purpose

Every life contains stories worth telling.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi—the art of repairing broken pottery with gold—this workshop invites participants to explore how life's challenges, transitions and defining moments can become the source material for meaningful stories.

Drawing on her experience writing her memoir So, Who Are You Anyway?, Sarah Rosse combines memoir writing, reflective journalling and meaningful conversation to help participants uncover the stories that shape identity.

Influenced by the connection-centred philosophy of Kintsugi Heroes and Sarah's own 100 Conversations Initiative, this workshop explores how storytelling, listening and reflection can deepen both our writing and our understanding of ourselves.

Through guided writing exercises, facilitated conversations and practical memoir techniques, participants will discover how personal experiences can be transformed into authentic and compelling narratives.

Workshop Purpose

Every person has a story worth telling.

Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi—the art of repairing broken pottery with gold—this workshop encourages young people to see that life's challenges, changes and everyday experiences can help shape who they are becoming.

Drawing on her own journey as an author and journal coach, Sarah Rosse shares how writing, reflection and meaningful conversations can help us better understand ourselves, build confidence and discover our unique voice. Through stories from her book So, Who Are You Anyway?, she demonstrates how asking honest questions can lead to greater self-awareness, resilience and personal growth.

Inspired by the connection-centred philosophy of Kintsugi Heroes and Sarah's 100 Conversations Initiative, this workshop explores how listening to others, sharing ideas and reflecting on our own experiences can strengthen our sense of identity and belonging.

Through interactive activities, creative journalling, guided conversations and storytelling exercises, participants will discover that every experience—whether exciting, challenging or unexpected—has the potential to become part of their story. They will leave with practical tools to express themselves with confidence, reflect on their experiences and recognise that their voice matters.
