Let’s create something meaningful together.

I am working on research for a number of upcoming book ideas. If you would like to contribute to the themes below, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email.

Please note, contributors will not receive monetary reimbursement for sharing their stories, however, will be recognised formally in the book once published.

Too Much, Not Enough (working title) - An anthology for Late diagnosis of ADHD in peri/menopausal women

Core Concept: A reflective poetry and prose collection exploring the experience of late-diagnosed ADHD in women, particularly when symptoms intensify during perimenopause and lifelong masking begins to collapse.

Mission Statement: I want this book to give language to women who spent decades believing they were failing at life, when in reality they were navigating undiagnosed neurodivergence beneath the weight of expectation, caregiving, masking, and survival.

This collection is about grief, recognition, identity, and the quiet reclamation that can happen when women finally understand themselves with compassion instead of shame

Contributions sought: Poetry, excerpts or contributions from woman in the following (some or all) themes

a) Before I had Words (Living undiagnosed)

b) The Unravelling (Peri-menopause amplifying ADHD symptoms)

c) The Diagnosis (Recognition and grief)

d) Becoming (Rebuilding identity without shame)

Thirty Years, Thirty Stories (working title)

Core Concept: A collection of lived-experience stories from carers and disability support staff, sharing how the people they support have profoundly changed their perspectives, values, and lives.

Mission Statement: This book is being created to mark 30 years of working in the disability field. It brings together 30 stories from carers and support staff, each reflecting on a person they supported who changed them, quietly or profoundly.

This is not a book about “care” in the traditional sense.
It is about connection, impact, and the ways the people we support shape who we become.

Contributions sought: I’m inviting carers, support workers, and professionals in the disability field to share a story about:

  • A person you supported who stayed with you

  • A moment that shifted something in you

  • An experience that changed how you see your work or yourself

These stories don’t need to be dramatic. Often, the most powerful ones are quiet and deeply human.

What Participation Involves
